An off-duty police officer was forced to wrestle a hysterical motorist to the ground after seeing him assaulting another driver through their window.
Dramatic footage captures the moment the shorter policeman tackled the larger driver, who had been fighting another driver over a pair of sunglasses.
Filmed on the A27 in Worthing, Sussex, the clip begins midway through an argument, with the driver reaching in through a car window aggressively.

The well-built attacker was filmed by the passenger of the car as he violently tussled over a pair of sunglasses.
Getting out of the car for a clearer shot, the passenger films the man pushing and pulling the person sat in the driver’s seat before making away with his glasses.
Eventually, a man steps in identifying himself as an off-duty police officer.
Asking for an explanation over the man’s aggressive behaviour, he pulls out his badge and tells him he is under arrest on suspicion of assault.
But not content with having attacked another driver, the man then begins to tussle with the police officer, who asks bystanders to call emergency services for back-up.
The pair begin wrestling as the police office struggles to contain the man who tries to make his way to his Land Rover.

Realising he’s overstepped the mark and cannot escape, the angry driver begins to theatrically complain about being unable to breathe.
As reinforcements arrive, the man’s complaints are quickly dismissed by the on-duty officers, who say: ‘You say you can’t breathe but you’re able to resist us?’
Complaining he has a daughter in the car, the police tell the man he should have thought about that before getting into the altercation.
