Isthmmian League Premier Division side Horsham FC saw their FA Cup dream ended by Sutton United at Gander Green Lane in the second round.

The Hornets have made it further than anyone could have expected in the competition, being granted a by to the second round after Barnsley fielded an unregistered player against them in the first round proper.

Dominic di Paola’s side can hold their head high as they went into the half-time break level with the League Two side.

However, Dion Pereira netted twice in 10 minutes to put Sutton firmly ahead.

With the visitors chasing a goal, Omari Patrick netted in the dying moments to seal their fate and send Sutton into the third round.
