The last few months have no doubt been stressful for pop singer Samantha Jade, who recently had to cancel her wedding due to Covid.
And the New Boy star, 34, looked rather sombre on Tuesday when she stepped out for coffee in Paddington, Sydney, with her fiancé Pat Handlin.
Joined by her dog Banksy, the Perth-born songstress failed to raise a smile as she strolled down the footpath alongside her husband-to-be.

She dressed casually in a white hoodie, black leggings and sneakers, and swept her blonde hair into a no-fuss updo.
Samantha appeared to go makeup free, and concealed her gaze behind cat-eye sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Pat, a former Sony Music Australia executive, sported a serious expression on his face while speaking to someone on the phone.
He wore a sporty outfit comprising shorts, a black fleece and a baseball cap.

The sighting comes after Samantha called off her wedding to Pat because of the unpredictable Covid situation.
The X Factor winner, known for her hits Bounce and Sweet Talk, had already been forced to cancel her nuptials twice last year due to the pandemic.
She told Perth Now on July 15 she had all but given up on plans for a wedding in 2021 – although restrictions on weddings have eased since she did this interview.

Samantha, who got engaged to Pat in January 2019, said the couple were going to start planning a few months ago’ with a view to getting married ‘really fast’.
But then Perth, where her side of the family lives, entered a snap lockdown in April and she decided to ‘completely put on hold’ plans to wed amid the Delta strain crisis.
‘I was like, “You know what? Let’s not bother.” I can’t not have my family at my wedding. We are going to put it on hold to see what is going on with Covid,’ she said.

‘It’s not worth it. First of all it’s extremely expensive and it’s so heartbreaking to have to put it on hold all the time.
‘I don’t want to also get all excited and, you know, have to cancel it, so right now it’s just on hold until the world gets itself together, I guess.’
Pat was one of two Sony Music Australia executives to be stood down in June following the abrupt departure of his father and long-serving CEO Denis Handlin.
The label confirmed to The Music Network in August he was ‘no longer with the company’.

He had joined the company in 2006 as an intern before rising up the ranks to vice president of artists and repertoire.

Sony Music is investigating claims of bullying and harassment in its Australian office with the HR probe being led from the company’s U.S. headquarters.
