A man is in hospital in a serious condition after allegedly being stabbed during a brawl involving five men.
The 40-year-old man received a stab wound to his leg and a head injury after the alleged stabbing at Greenfield Park, in Sydney’s west.
Police established a crime scene at the Nineveh Soccer Field after the incident took place about 8pm on Monday, leaving blood splattered on the ground.

The field is the home ground of the Fairfield Bulls, an Assyrian soccer club established in 1971.
It is not known whether the brawl also involved spectators, or which teams were playing at the time.

A police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia the man’s injuries are not life threatening and he was taken to Liverpool Hospital (pictured is blood left at the scene)

Police are investigating the incident and interviewed several people at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
