Manhunt underway after man is stabbed to death during an altercation inside a suburban home

An armed man remains at large while another is dead following a violent altercation inside a suburban house.

Emergency services were called to a home on Parroo Close at St Clair in Sydney’s west around 4.30pm on Friday following reports a man had been stabbed. 

Emergency responders arrived to find a man unconscious suffering from serious injuries and began performing CPR.

The man died at the scene, despite desperate efforts to revive him.

Two female occupants who were at home at the time were assessed by paramedics but weren’t injured.

Sydney police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a man who fatally stabbed another after an altercation in St Clair, in the city’s west just before 4:30pm on Friday

A manhunt is now underway for the alleged attacker. 

The suspect is described as being aged in his mid-20s, of African appearance, with a solid build and black hair in short dreadlocks.

A neighbour whose sister was home at the time said that the dispute may have been over a love triangle, Nine News reported. 

The street remains closed off on Friday night.

Five police cars were seen driving away and begin patrolling the suburb as a desperate manhunt began.

Anyone who sees the man is urged not to approach him but to call Triple-0 immediately.
