A passenger who put her feet up on a seat while travelling on a train during peak hour has been slammed by a fed up commuter.

The irate passenger was travelling on a train from Cronulla in Sydney’s south to Bondi Junction in the city’s eastern suburbs when she noticed the disgusting act.

The commuter said the woman had put her feet up on the opposite seat while there were other passengers on the packed train that needed to sit down.

Fed up with the woman’s inconsiderate act, the passenger who witnessed the incident took a photo and posted it on Facebook calling the woman out.

‘Please note that it is not right to place your feet on the seat opposite yours,’ she said.

‘You kept your feet on and were reluctant to put them down when another lady needed to sit down.

‘You then placed them next to her’.

The woman’s post in the Essential Sutherland Shire Facebook group continued: ‘I’m sorry but this is just wrong.’

‘It’s not your lounge room.’

The commuter said she decided to post the image of the woman because she didn’t think saying anything to her would change her behaviour.

Thousands of fans were stranded at Olympic Park on Wednesday night following the Matildas semi-final game against England after a signal failure caused travel chaos

The incident comes after Sydney’s train system made the headlines this week when thousands of fans were stranded at Olympic Park following the Matildas semi-final clash against England on Wednesday night.

The massive disruption to late-night train services after Australia’s loss to England was caused by a signal failure at a railway station in Sydney’s inner west.

Two homeless men cut open wires inside the relay room of the station, causing the travel chaos and forcing NSW Premier Chris Minns to apologize to passengers.
