A young man has died after a late night shooting in Sydney’s south-west.

Emergency services were called to a home on Dalton Street, Condell Park at about 10.30pm on Monday night following reports a man had been shot.

A young man in his 20s was found suffering a gunshot wound.

The man was treated by paramedics, but he could not be revived and died at the scene. 

A crime scene was established by officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command.

Specialist forensic police investigators will examine the scene as part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. 

Officers have urged anyone with any information, dashcam or CCTV from the surrounding areas to contact Crime Stoppers.
