Taiwan is hit by 5.7 magnitude earthquake

Taiwan has been hit by a 5.7 magnitude earthquake.

It came a day after a powerful 6.4 magnitude earthquake near Taiwan’s east coast late on Tuesday killed at least six people with 76 others still unaccounted for. 

Rescuers worked to free trapped people on Wednesday after the quake caused several buildings in in worst-hit Hualien county to cave in and tilt dangerously.
