Whilst the rest of Australia plunges into the winter chill, why not escape the grey, rainy days with a holiday package in Broome, Western Australia?

Broome is the gateway to the Kimberley region, a rugged landscape displaying a vast array of flora and fauna. Explore the real Australian outback in and around Broome, with holiday packages including accommodation, meals, vehicle hire, suggested itineraries and inclusive activities.

When to visit?

From May to October Broome experiences a ‘dry season’ with warm days and nights. Expect clear sunny skies and temperatures of 25-35°C and cooler nights in the low 20s, the perfect getaway from the lows of winter.

Alternatively, if you don’t mind the humidity and torrential downpours, Broome’s wet season begins in November through to April with average temperatures ranging from 30-45°C.

It is best to avoid January to February or else risk ruining your holiday with the possibility of tropical cyclones crossing the top end of WA.

The best time to visit is straight after the wet season. The heat and humidity drop off and the months of heavy rainfall enrichen the lush greenery of the landscape.
