A make-up artist has won a legion of fans on Instagram after showcasing her sensational celebrity transformations.
Priyanka Pawar, 29, from Ghaziabad in India, spends up to 11 hours a day turning herself into an array of famous faces – from Friends actress Jennifer Aniston to American media personality Kylie Jenner.
The talented make-up artist uses her kit of cosmetics and wigs to recreate well-known stars – including several characters from the Harry Potter franchise, such as Professor Minerva McGonagall and Draco Malfoy.

Priyanka said: ‘I love transforming myself into these celebrities and characters. To be able to get a new face using make-up and techniques, I find it both challenging and exciting.’
Her exceptional creations have gained her 212,000 Instagram followers, and the comment sections of her videos are often filled with thousands of positive remarks, branding her skills ‘amazing’ and ‘incredible’.
She added: ‘It feels wonderful when people enjoy my work and leave such comments.’
Priyanka started creating the celebrity transformations during her free time in lockdown last year.

Priyanka (pictured as Mr Bean) said: ‘I love transforming myself into these celebrities and characters. To be able to get a new face using make-up and techniques, I find it both challenging and exciting’
She said: ‘When a famous Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput killed himself last year, I was very moved and decided to recreate his look as a way of respect. My followers were thrilled when I posted it, although it didn’t come out as nicely.
‘I was motivated with the response and thought of recreating characters from Harry Potter as it is my favourite movie series. Since then I have created several popular looks.’
She starts off with several photographs of the celebrity she plans to imitate and then carefully studies the bone structure and mainly uses make-up products such as concealer, foundation and highlighter for shading and contouring.
She also uses wigs, bald caps and contact lenses to get the exact look, and says the biggest challenge is to recreate the nose.

Priyanka said: ‘I do a lot of research and choose the front face photographs. I study depth and face cut. These are 2D make-up so the transformation is visible only from the front side and it takes 10-11 hours to get one look.
‘The most challenging part is to create the nose as it requires lot of attention – making it wider or narrower, hiding nostrils, etc. Lips are comparatively easy to make.’
Priyanka quit her corporate job to learn her craft in 2018, running a bridal make-up business – but mainly enjoys creating optical illusions on her face or celebrity transformations.

She added: ‘I quit my job because I was always interested in make-up and creativity. I first learned basic make-up but I always wanted to do more. I was inspired by famous illusion artist Mini Choy.
‘I self-taught illusion make-up and practised to understand depth and shadow work and then gradually moved to recreating faces. I am ecstatic about all the attention and compliments I am getting for my work.’
She recently got the opportunity to team up with Netflix to promote an Indian anthology based on the stories of Satyajit Ray, a renowned Indian filmmaker.
