Tara Brown suffers a VERY unfortunate wardrobe malfunction on 60 Minutes

Presenter Tara Brown suffers a VERY unfortunate wardrobe malfunction while interviewing a 9/11 survivor on 60 Minutes

She’s the Channel Nine journalist with a knack for exposing hard-hitting Australian stories.

But 60 Minutes reporter Tara Brown, 53, exposed a lot more than she bargain for on Sunday night, thanks to a very unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.

Brown was interviewing a 9/11 survivor in a pre-recorded segment when the front of her brown turtleneck sprung open.

Tara’s top featured a line of clasps that ran from her neck down to her bust.

Unfortunately, several of these closures became unhooked, revealing a glimpse at her décolletage and nude-coloured bra.

Tara appeared not to notice her fashion faux pas as she conducted the hard-hitting interview.

Wardrobe malfunctions are commonplace in the television business, with the likes of The Block host Scott Cam suffering his own unfortunate incident just a few months ago.

During an episode of The Block in October, viewers noticed that Scott had accidentally left his fly undone as he gave the contestants the judges’ feedback during the room reveals.

‘Scotty Cam at his finest… fly undone and all #TheBlock,’ one viewer tweeted.

Another added: ‘Did anyone else notice that Scotty’s fly is undone?’

‘Did the editors not see Scotty’s fly undone?’ a third commented.

The 58-year-old subsequently brushed off the gaffe during an interview with Karl Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys on the Today show.

‘My grandfather used to say to me when I was a young bloke, ‘Do you have a licence to sell hot dogs?’ And I said ‘No, why?’ He said, ‘Well, your stand’s open,” Scott said.

‘My cameraman and executive producer came up to me – we’d done about 10 minutes or eight minutes into the Sunday night studio session – and he said, ‘Your fly’s down.’ I went, Ah, jeez!” he added.
