The 53-year-old actress was first seen while posing for a few snaps prior to the start of the event, at which she opened up about her career in the entertainment industry.
The performer – who recently attended a star-studded premiere event on Broadway – later addressed the crowd that was present at the function, and she appeared to be making the most of her time on stage.

The story, which takes place in the South, is centered on the life and times of a young African-American woman and her family.
The book was first adapted into a film, which was directed by Steven Spielberg, in 1985, and the story was used as the basis of a musical of the same name, which premiered on Broadway in 2005.
Development on the feature was first revealed to the public in 2018, and Spielberg, Quincy Jones and Oprah Winfrey, who appeared in the 1985 film, all serve as the project’s executive producers.
Henson was revealed to have joined the cast of the project last year, and she will portray Shug Avery.
