‘Great everyday basics. So comfortable and great quality,’ another wrote.

One popular fashion influencer Chelsea Williamson described the slides as the ‘best dupe.’

This isn’t the first time Target has released similar styles to trending designer footwear.

Their $22 Maree Moulded Footbed Sandals are a ringer for Birkenstock’s $146 Arizona sandal.

The shoes have been described as an ‘excellent, affordable alternative’ to the branded sandal.

One mum said she prefers the Target version as the foot-bed is softer and the shoe easier to break in.

Target is also due to release a knock-off of the viral Birkenstock Boston, a $270 clog that has become so popular this season that it’s almost impossible to get.

The trending sandals are currently available in black, pink and white in Target stores, but stock is selling quickly.

‘Love these shoes. So comfortable. I wish I got more than one pair!’ one woman said.

‘Super comfy to chuck on, great for work! If you’re thinking about purchasing definitely purchase,’ another wrote.
