Tash Peterson clashes with Fyre restaurant’s John Mountain second time in Perth

A notorious activist has once again clashed with an anti-vegan chef at his restaurant with diners and protesters also becoming involved in the melee.

For the second week in a row, Tash Peterson led protesters to Perth’s Fyre restaurant, where vegans were banned from visiting by head chef John Mountain last month.

Ms Peterson had gatecrashed the venue last weekend before staging a second protest on Saturday night.

Protestors chanted and showed video of a pig being slaughtered with the audio amplified by a speaker.

Mr Mountain was seen in footage charging out a number of times and scuffling with the activists as he tried to wrestle the loud-speaker from Ms Peterson.

This led to one of the protestors tackling Mr Mountain, who eventually went back into his restaurant.

Ms Peterson later posted a photo to Instagram of her bloodied hand.

‘We returned tonight and will fight through blood, sweat and tears on behalf of the non-human people subjected to the largest holocaust in history,’ she wrote.

A short time after the fight over the loudspeaker, Mr Mountain emerged again from his otherwise barricaded restaurant with the door closed and blinds down.

He was accompanied by some patrons as they attempted to physically shut down the protest.

Eight police officers arrived about an hour after the confrontations began.

‘Police threatened to arrest me for ‘disorderly conduct’ because I was blasting the screams of pigs in gas chambers because I was disturbing the police,’ Ms Peterson captioned a photo of her talking to an officer.

According to the West Australian, the officer first tried to defuse the situation.

Teenage onlookers reportedly shouted at both the activists and the chef, ‘You are disgusting’.

Mr Mountain hurled crude insults referencing Ms Peterson’s OnlyFans page.

‘Do you know how long these people are going to stay here and disrupt my business?’ Mr Mountain asked a police.

Ms Peterson once worked as a pool lifeguard before deciding to share racy content to OnlyFans where she reportedly made as much as $40,000 per month.

She opened up on the previous protest as it descended into violence on June 30.

Ms Peterson, along with a dozen other activists, barged their way inside Fyre, with a speaker loudly playing the sounds of pigs squealing in distress before being slaughtered.

At one stage, Mr Mountain is seen holding Ms Peterson back with his hand pushing on her shoulder.

He also grabbed another protester by her hoodie and dragged her outside.

‘So we’ve just done a disruption in the restaurant Fyre,’ Ms Peterson said in a video posted after the altercation.

‘It was absolutely f**king chaotic’.

‘I was grabbed by the neck and that’s kind of bruised at the moment, I’ve got cuts and bruises.

‘Because there were 12 activists, there were probably at least several of us who were also physically assaulted but this is just the resistance we face as animal rights activists.’

Mr Mountain said the ban on vegans followed an unreasonable complaint from a vegan customer who had demanded the venue accommodate her dietary requirements.

Following a social media statement banning vegans, Fyre claimed the restaurant was flooded with one-star reviews on Google in an attempt to hurt his business.

He said a lot of chefs ‘despised’ vegans and said Ms Peterson, who he nicknamed ‘Trasher’, could expect to receive a letter from his lawyers.

She is currently banned from all licensed premises in WA.

‘I’m just a guy trying to run a little business in the northern suburbs of WA. It should end now. Stop giving everybody this platform — just end it now,’ he told the publication.

‘Peace and love, you vegan f**kers.’

Mr Mountain added the stunt had tripled business for his restaurant.

‘Thank you vegans, I love you,’ he said.
