Tash Peterson: Notorious vegan activist banned from Crown Towers Perth

A controversial vegan activist has filmed the dramatic moment she and her boyfriend were escorted from a five star hotel after being told she was permanently banned from the venue.

Tash Peterson, 30, detailed in two Tik Tok videos how she was issued with a ban at Perth’s Crown Towers just two hours after she and her partner Jack Higgs had checked into their room on Saturday.

The notorious activist, who has been banned from other establishments after performing stunts, claimed that the security guard told her the ban had been place from September 2021.

Despite her past protests, the Perth-based activist claimed that the ban was unrelated to any stunts and that the couple were being thrown out for ‘doing nothing’.

‘They are only just serving it on me now, three years later. I’m permanently banned,’ she said.

‘And so essentially, we have to pack our s**t up and leave.’

The moment the pair were escorted from their room was filmed with Ms Peterson saying their only crime was wanting to spend their money at Crown.

‘Kicked out for doing nothing. For giving them our money,’ she said.

Once outside, the mystified pair were still trying to figure why they were thrown out.

The couple had been celebrating Mr Higgs’ birthday during the overnight stay at the $650million five star hotel, which consists of 500 rooms and villas.

‘I can’t remember the last time I came to Crown, like to go out,’ Ms Peterson said.

‘I think I was like 18-years-old. Didn’t do anything wrong. There was no incidents whatsoever.’

The vegan activist posted the TikTok video with the heading, ‘Kicked out of Crown Towers! See WATCHDOMINION.ORG for the truth.’

In a follow up TikTok, Ms Peterson admitted the Crown Towers did reimburse the pair their money but added that the ordeal had ruined the couple’s weekend.

‘Yeah, and this was meant to be a business thing as well,’ Mr Higgs said.

‘We (were) gonna film content, we had everything planned.

‘We’ve taken our weekend out for this.’

The pair were also angry that it took two hours for them to be served with the ban – after they had already checked in and unpacked.

Daily Mail Australia contacted Crown Towers for comment.

Ms Peterson said she also asked the security guard what the reason was for and they informed her she had to contact someone ‘higher up’ for that information.

‘And then I just saw in the paperwork, it said undesirable behaviour,’ she said.

Ms Peterson is no stranger to controversy.

The latest saga comes just days after the controversial animal rights protester pleaded guilty to two trespass and disorderly behaviour charges for two separate stand-offs at Fyre restaurant in the northern Perth suburb of Connolly last year.

Petersen was banned from leaving Western Australia due a six-month community-based order issued by a magistrate in Joondalup Magistrates Court last week.

Ms Peterson was also hit with thousands of dollars in fines.

Other previous antics have led police and policymakers in WA to describe her as ‘Australia’s biggest pest’.

Ms Peterson has copped numerous fines for her semi-nude demonstrations and protests in designer stores, restaurants and supermarkets.
