Tatler girl Lana Palumbo has been banned from driving after she was caught more than twice over the legal drink-drive limit.
The 26-year-old model, who is the daughter of Lord and Lady Palumbo, didn’t have her lights on when officers spotted her moving her car in Kensington, west London.
She told Westminster Magistrates Court she had parked her blue Fiat 500 on a yellow line outside a friend’s birthday party and was only looking to move it.
But the socialite ‘misjudged’ how much she had drunk and was caught with 81microgrammes in her system. The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml of breath.

Palumbo’s father Baron Peter Palumbo is a wealthy property developer, art collector and Conservative peer in the House of Lords.
The now 82-year-old was a polo team mate of Prince Charles until a falling out over Palumbo’s plans for a building near St Paul’s Cathedral, in which Charles branded it a ‘glass stump’.
Baron Palumbo is also the godfather of Princess Beatrice of York.
Her mother is Lebanese-born Hayat Calil, who he married after the divorce and death of his first wife Denia Wigram.
Lana’s brother Jamie Palumbo is the founder of Ministry of Sound and her sister Petra is married to Lord Lovat, Simon Fraser.
She told the court: ‘I made a terrible error of judgement, I was only moving my car a short distance but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I was under the influence.I am really embarrassed and really sorry.
‘I was parked on Old Brompton Road on a single yellow and the idea was to move my car because I didn’t want to get towed away.

‘I was going to pay for a taxi and I had misjudged how much I had consumed.’
Police claim they could smell alcohol on her immediately when she was stopped.
Palumbo, who lives in Kensington and pays for her glamorous lifestyle with her inheritance and modelling work, admitted the charge of drink driving in court.
She was disqualified for 20 months and fined £657, to be paid in 28 days.
But Palumbo was afforded the maximum deduction of 20 weeks if she takes an ‘I Am Road Smart’ course.
When asked about her means she told the court she has a steady income from her inheritance and had spent a month working with her mother recently.
