Taylor Swift dons leather trousers, joins her longtime friends Haim onstage for mashup of songs

Taylor Swift surprised thousands in attendance as she joined Haim onstage during their concert at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday evening.

The 32-year-old singer and the band, which consists of sisters Danielle, Alana and Este, performed a mashup of their respective tracks Love Story and Gasoline during the show.

The performers were also featured in a TikTok video that was shared to the Grammy-winning singer’s account on Thursday afternoon.

In the clip, the three members of Haim were seen while getting ready for their big show.

The trio then looked behind them and appeared to be surprised by the presence of Swift in their dressing room.

The You Belong With Me singer notably wore a sleeveless black top and a pair of Louis Vuitton leather pants, both of which have been mainstays for the members of the band during their ongoing One More Haim Tour.

The performer also added a track to her video to imply that she was a ‘copycat.’

Swift penned a short message in her post’s caption that read: ‘Hitting copypaste on your friends’ looks like @haimtheband.’ 

The Champagne Problems singer has previously collaborated with her longtime friends on several occasions.

The singer and the band initially became acquainted in the mid-2010s, and they opened for her during the North American leg of her 1989 World Tour, which took place in 2015.

Swift and the members of Haim were subsequently spotted in each other’s company in numerous photos that were shared to social media over the years.

The first collaboration between the artists was on the track No Body, No Crime, which was featured on the Willow singer’s 2020 album Evermore.

Although the song was not based on actual events, the hitmaker named the protagonist of the track Este in reference to the band’s bassist.
