Taylor Swift fans are warning those going to the star’s last Eras show in Sydney on Monday night to be aware of one ‘intense’ detail about the venue.
One Swiftie said she ‘almost fainted’ when she was in the long line to get from Accor Stadium to the train and there was nowhere to sit.
After the show, tens of thousands of concertgoers have to slowly make their way into the Sydney Olympic Park train station and then pile onto a crowded train – with some reporting the queue goes for as long as 90 minutes.
‘Please be aware the line to get back on the train is really intense. I almost fainted. It’s like being stuck in the middle of thousands of people,’ a woman wrote on Facebook.
‘Keep this in mind as I would have waited if I knew this. I had to ask to go through the barrier and sit down as I was going to drop.’

The warning prompted other ticket holders to agree with one calling the chaos ‘horrendous’.
’90 minutes to get to the train and we only made it in time as trains stopped at 12.40am. Hope they are better organised tomorrow night! We got back to our city accommodation at 1.15am!’ one fan replied.
‘I second this, it was awful. We ended up on a train but got off at Redfern and got an Uber. My daughter was about to faint,’ a mum said.
‘Was awful, I’d recommend if u don’t want to be shoved around like a sardine then find a seat and wait. The amount of people shoving past and trying to push through was rough,’ a third wrote.
Some were thankful for the advice, particularly those who struggle to stand on their feet for long periods of time.
‘Thanks, this is really useful to know. I’m pregnant and wondering if there are accessibility options. Was planning to take the train back to Central Station and then another train back to accommodation in St Leonard’s,’ one woman replied.

‘Thank you for passing this info on. I have a daughter with a medical condition going in Monday and noted it took my niece a really long time to get in the train last night,’ another commented.
Others shared how they avoided the post-concert queues with one mum saying she and her kids left during the last few songs.
‘We listened/danced to Karma and watched the fireworks from outside. Not as good as being in there but I predicted what the trains would be like and didn’t want to risk it,’ she said.
‘Highly recommend catching one of the major event buses instead if you have the option to choose between train or major event bus,’ a second suggested.
But not everyone had an issue with one saying they were at home an hour after the concert ended.
‘I thought it was fantastic. We were out of the concert and back in our hotel room near Town Hall in exactly one hour,’ she said.
‘I actually thought they dealt with the massive crowds well. We waited about 30 minutes. Remember there was a sold-out show at Qudos as well. The only way to avoid the huge queues is to leave the show a few songs early,’ another agreed.
‘As long as you leave right as Karma ends it’s not that bad! We managed to get the second train and we were back at our accommodation within an hour of leaving,’ someone chimed in.
