Taylor Swift grope DJ has bomb threat on first day

The radio DJ found guilty in August of groping Taylor Swift last year had a bomb scare on his first week the new job.

David Mueller became the host of a morning show KIX 92.7 in Greenwood, Mississippi, under the name Confederate general Stonewall Jackson on Monday – his first since he lost a lawsuit filed by Swift for sexual assault.

Law enforcement told TMZ that police raced to the station Wednesday after someone emailed a bomb threat.

Chief Ray Moore of the Greenwood Police Department told the news website that officers evacuated the building and brought a bomb-sniffing dog through but turned up with nothing in their search.

A source at KIX told TMZ the threatening email appeared to be directly related to Mueller’s hiring.

No arrest have been made at this time and an investigation is underway.

In 2013, the pop star told his former employer in Denver that he had grabbed her backside during a meet-and-greet, causing Mueller to lose his job.

The DJ sued Taylor in 2015 for costing him his job. The singer counter-sued him for sexual assault.

‘He lifted my skirt and grabbed my bare ass cheek,’ Taylor told the jury in her civil trial this past August.

‘It was a definite grab, not jostling.’

Taylor couldn’t remember how long Mueller stayed latched onto her behind, but did say, ‘it was a definite grab, long enough to be completely sure that it was intentional.’

An eight-member jury sided with Taylor, and the DJ was forced to pay the singer a symbolic $1 the groping.

Mueller now co-hosts the morning show ‘Jackson & Jonbob’ on Greenwood’s KIX 92.7.

His employer Delta Radio CEO Larry Fuss defends the hiring, believing Mueller to be innocent.

‘I sat down with him face-to-face in Minneapolis before I offered him the job and talked to him about it,’ Fuss said to the New York Daily News .

‘He’s either the world’s best liar, or he’s telling the truth. I tend to believe his version of the story and most people who have talked to him face-to-face do believe his version of the story.’

Mueller began his new job on Monday, hosting the show from 5am to 9am on weekdays.

The hiring was swiftly met with a social media backlash, which Fuss dismissed.

‘Most of them need to get a life,’ he said. ‘Most of the response I have seen this morning – there’s been quite a few on our Facebook page, and none of it is radio people, none of it is local people in Mississippi.

‘It’s all originating from some Taylor Swift fan group somewhere. They’re telling people to go to this station’s webpage and post negative comments.

‘It’s just people who don’t have a clue, or don’t really have any knowledge of the facts.’
