Taylor Swift thanked her legions of fans on Tuesday night as she accepted the grand award for special or variety at the 46th annual Gracie Awards.
While virtually accepting the honor for her Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions on the Alliance For Women in Media’s Facebook page, the pop star had a special message for her longtime supporters.
‘Thank you for caring about all of this, thank you for being the reason we could all come together in this way,’ the 11-time Grammy winner gushed.

The performer concluded: ‘You made this album into what it is and you continue to blow me away all the time.’
Superstar gymnast Simone Biles presented the award to the 31-year-old hitmaker, who she praised for always being ‘raw, open and honest.’
After applauding Swift for her activism and storytelling, the Olympian, 24, opened up about how the singer checked in on her after she missed a week of the Tokyo Games while dealing with mental health concerns.

In response, Swift replied: ‘I absolutely adore you, and that just really made my heart skip a beat.’
During Disney+’s Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, which aired last November, Swift performed all 17 songs off Folklore accompanied by co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff.

‘It’s an album that allows you to feel your feelings and is a product of isolation,’ the All Too Well crooner explained of Folklore. ‘This could have been a time where I absolutely lost my mind and instead, I think this album was a real flotation device.’
She added: ‘I am so glad we worked on this album because it turns out everyone needed a cry.’
