Taylor Swift helps fellow NFL WAG Kristin Juszczyk reach 1M followers on Instagram after popstar was one of the first to wear her custom jackets to a game

Taylor Swift has helped Kristin Juszczyk reach one million followers on social media after wearing one of her custom-made, NFL jackets earlier in the postseason.

Juszczyk – the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk – shared her latest Instagram milestone on Thursday, barely a month after Swift and Brittany Mahomes – one of the popstar’s closest friends on the Chiefs – wore personalized puffer jackets when Kansas City defeated the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium in the Wild Card round.

‘Came home to the latest sweetest surprise from @partiesandpetals!! Can’t believe one million of you guys follow me,’ Juszczyk, who was spotted in Mexico with other 49ers WAGs just a week after San Francisco’s Super Bowl loss, shared as a caption to a post of herself standing in front of white and gold balloons. 

‘I can’t thank you all enough for all your support and encouragement! I promise you all I’m grinding to get some KJ designs into your hands.’

By the start of the month, Juszczyk would score a NFL licensing deal.

Before Swift propelled her clothes to a new level of attention, the 29-year-old designer built a following online by repurposing jerseys into more high-fashion pieces – corsets, suits, skirts – for herself as she attended 49ers games to support her husband.

Her NFL chic couture has spread to other players’ partners and supporters across the league, including Simone Biles and Taylor Lautner. 

‘She single-handedly catapulted my career,’ Juszczyk said of Swift’s influence on her brand. ‘I’ve been at this for years. When I saw her walk out in that jacket, it just like, brought me to tears.’

Simone Biles is another of Juszczyk’s clients, as she wore a custom-made Packers jacket that was designed by the 29-year-old designer at one of Green Bay’s games this season

Juszczyk even obtained a merchandise license from the NFL after fans have asked for more of her creations

Before Juszczyk sent Swift and Mahomes jackets for the January 13 game, she had about 100,000 followers, according to Social Blade. That’s a growth of 900,000 in 42 days. 

With her official license in hand, Juszczyk designed puffer vests commemorating Super Bowl LVIII, sported by celebrities. One such vest sold for $75k with proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, according to The Associated Press.

Juszczyk herself wore a jacket stitched from jerseys, an ode to her husband’s football career, for Sunday’s big game. 

She is now aiming to come up with NBA fandom gear and has designed a custom Golden State Warriors jacket for Steph Curry’s wife Ayesha, according to multiple reports.

It’s unclear when the clothing item will be released.
