Taylor Swift: NFL reporter SLAMMED for asking if pop star was sat next to Dennis Rodman while watching Travis Kelce face the Bears

NFL reporter Albert Breer has sparked outrage online by asking if Taylor Swift was sat next to Dennis Rodman at the Bears vs Chiefs game – despite the spectator in question looking nothing like him.

Swift was at Arrowhead on Sunday to cheer on new beau Travis Kelce as he helped the Chiefs claim a 41-10 victory over Chicago, watching on in the stands while donning a red-and-white jersey.

The pop star, whose rumored romance with the Kansas City tight end has dominated headlines in recent weeks, could be seen going wild when Kelce scored a touchdown early in the second half.

Yet while the sight of Swift celebrating in the stands captured most attention on the night, Breer was instead left intrigued by an unknown man sitting to her left.

And the journalist, who works for Sports Illustrated’s MMQB, thought he’d cracked it.

Breer thought he had solved the mystery, bizarrely suggesting the man was NBA icon Rodman

Fans quickly ripped into the NFL journalist given there was hardly any resemblance to Rodman

He wrote on X during the game: ‘Is that Dennis Rodman sitting next to Taylor Swift?’

Given the spectator was evidently not former NBA star Rodman – with his style of sunglasses one of few similarities between them – fans quickly took to social media to slam Breer for his mistake.

One said: ‘Oh no Albert. This is wild to say’.

Another commented: ‘That looks nothing like Dennis Rodman’.

A third put: ‘The disrespect is real. Bro don’t even look like him’.

A fourth wrote: ‘You haven’t seen Dennis rodman lately hey?’

‘You can’t be serious,’ said another. 

While one simply said: ‘Oh dear’.

Breer was even accused of racism by others who went one step further in condemning his post.

One said: ‘This was racist af!’

Another put: ‘Y’all think any black dude with shades on dennis rodman?’

Breer was accused of ‘disrespect’ by several users on social media platform X after his post

While one posted: ‘Dude, seriously? You’re leaving this ignorant ass tweet up?’

It is currently unclear who the spectator in question was, though it’s safe to say Breer’s bizarre guess certainly wasn’t correct.

Rodman cemented a legacy as arguably the greatest rebounding forward in NBA history during his time with the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and more.

As for Swift and Kelce, the pair were seen leaving Arrowhead together after the Chiefs’ victory on Sunday night.
