Taylor Swift is turning her attention sharply back to music after it emerged she will not be in Denver on Sunday to cheer Travis Kelce on against the Broncos.

After going to four of the last five Kansas City Chiefs games, Swift now has to focus on her upcoming Eras tour dates in South America – which start on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The run of dates also see her perform in Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paolo in November – meaning she feasibly isn’t free to see Kelce play until December 3, when the Chiefs play Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

The only road game Swift has been to for the Chiefs since her and Kelce have started dating was in New York – where she lives – for the October 1 game against the Jets.

Green Bay is typically a cold place to be in December, so Swift could choose to leave it a week and return for the following game a week later, at Arrowhead Stadium on December 10 against Buffalo Bills.

It will be a few weeks at the very least until Taylor Swift could be back watching an NFL game

But 2024 is a monster year of touring for Swift, as she takes the wildly successful Eras Tour across the globe.

The NFL regular season runs up to January 7 and then the playoffs begin which the Chiefs – Super Bowl champions with a 6-1 record so far this time around – will almost certainly be playing in.

But Swift is back on tour at the start of February in Japan – starting February 7 in Tokyo. Given she is taking at least 10 days this time around to prepare for her first Buenos Aires dates, one would assume she will not be hanging around too late in the month of January to see Chiefs games, if Kelce’s season is still going.

And it’s already safe to assume that Swift will not be at the Super Bowl if Kelce and the Chiefs make it that far again.

The game is scheduled on February 11 in Las Vegas, a day after her last Tokyo date. Swift will leave Japan and fly to Australia to play in Melbourne on February 16.

Her 2024 calendar is packed through to November next year with further dates in Singapore, Europe, Florida and Canada.

So, whether NFL fans have enjoyed it or not, Swift’s most ardent Football Era could already be a thing of the past.
