Taylor Swift sings with Kenny Chesney in new live track

Taylor Swift has just been named as the musical guest on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.

And over the weekend, country singer Kenny Chesney released a live audio of his duet with Taylor – the song Big Star – to YouTube.

Although the audio of the duet was released just days ago, it originates from a 2015 performance during one of his concerts.

Swift was a guest onstage in Nashville, Tennessee alongside country singer Kenny Chesney.

The Don’t Blink singer invited Swift onto the stage to help him perform Big Star in a recording on his new live album Live In No Shoes Nation. 

In the recording, the ex-husband of Renee Zellweger introduces the song: 

‘This song is about a girl who had a dream and followed it,’ Chesney tells the crowd at the beginning of the recording.

The crowd erupts when the Look What You Made Me Do hit maker begins singing.

On Monday, Billboard reported that Swift would be the November 11 musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

This will mark the Ready For It’s third SNL appearance as she promotes her forthcoming album, Reputation. 

On Swift’s last appearance on the show back in 2009, she served as both host and musical guest.
