Taylor Swift takes her Reputation tour to Australia in October

She last took to the stage in Australia back in 2015.

And now country pop star Taylor Swift is set to return Down Under in October.

On the road for her Reputation world tour, the 28-year-old hitmaker will be joined by support acts Charli XCX and New Zealand duo Broods.

Taylor will commence her Australian tour in Perth, Western Australia on October 19, followed by shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

At this stage there are no plans for any Adelaide concerts, which has left some fans angered.

In December last year when the tour dates were made public, one fan directed at Taylor on Twitter: ‘Really disappointed to see that you aren’t coming to Adelaide on your Australian tour. You played 2 sell out shows here last time’.

Another referenced her song lyrics in a devastated Tweet: ‘Dear @taylorswift13 the old Adelaide can’t come to the phone right now because we’re dying… for you to play here. Chuck us a lifeline?’

The last time Taylor took to the stage in Australia was back in 2015 for her 1989 World Tour, where she performed two sold-out concerts in Adelaide.

There’s still chance to purchase last minute tickets ahead of Taylor’s upcoming Australian tour for just $69.90.

Optus Perks are offering customers the chance to see the star at the exclusive price.

Away from the limited perk offered to Optus users, Ticketek are currently selling tickets at prices ranging from $104 for restricted view, up to $614 for a VIP package.

However, customers may want to act fast as their mobile phone giant’s allocation for Taylor’s show in Melbourne has already sold out.

Limited tickets are also available at Live Nation.
