Taylor Swift The Eras Australia tour 2024: Swifties count down the seconds as tickets go on sale

Taylor Swift’s Australia fans are gearing up this morning as the second lot of tickets for her The Eras Tour go on sale.

Frontier member pre-sales for the pop superstar’s Aussie shows start on Wednesday, June 28 at 10am – with tickets and VIP packages available.

Pre-sale tickets for Sydney begin at 10am, while Melbourne’s start at 2pm.

There appears to already be a lounge queue on the Ticketek website as of 8am, thought it has been advised by Ticketek to visit the webpage at least 15 minutes prior for the best chance of purchasing a ticket.

Fans went into meltdown on Monday in a scramble to get American Express VIP Package pre-sale tickets for her Australian shows next year.

While several Swifties will be on their way to see the pop star in February, others are concerned about missing out on the second batch of pre-sale tickets, followed by general public sale. Here’s how to score the best tickets and avoid missing out

General tickets go on sale on Friday, June 30, with Sydney kicking off at 10am local time, and Melbourne going on sale at 2pm.

The demand for tickets for the American pop star’s shows is expected to be unprecedented, and pre-sale allocations are likely to sell out.

Ticketek are expecting 10 times the amount of people that tried to access the AMEX pre-sales to attempt the Frontier pre-sale and general public sales.

However, a Ticketek spokesperson has provided Daily Mail Australia with the best and most helpful tips and tricks in order to score a ticket and not miss out.

They recommend fans remain patient and follow the prompts on their webpage, and make sure they don’t refresh their browser to avoid losing their spot in the queue.

‘Queuing is a necessary part of the purchasing process. A way of ensuring fair access to tickets for all fans,’ the spokesperson said.

‘Fans must remember to not leave the Lounge page or refresh their browser. The page will refresh itself frequently to let more fans through to purchase.’

Fans are also reminded that there is a strict time frame when purchasing tickets.

‘Once fans are in the Lounge, they should sit tight and wait to be let through to the event page,’ Ticketek’s spokesperson added.

‘And then, once they’re through, they need to remember to keep an eye on the timer and complete their purchase within the time frame.’

It is never too soon to start preparing for when tickets go on sale.

For Wednesday’s pre-sale, Frontier members have been advised to head to frontiertouring.com/taylorswift as soon as possible to obtain their unique pre-sale code and then bookmark the page.

They must remember their pre-sale code and must not share it with anyone.

If you’re purchasing tickets as a group, it is always important to plan and agree on the performance date, ticket price category and any packages beforehand. That way your timer won’t run out before purchasing.

There is a limit of four tickets per customer for each of Swift’s shows.

So it’s a good idea for Swifties to choose who and how many people they hope to go with well before the tickets go on sale.

Another tip is for each person to select a different concert date when trying to buy tickets to help boost their chances.

Fans are encouraged to visit Ticketek at least 15 minutes prior to tickets going on sale in order to give them the best chance of getting through to purchase tickets.

Ticketek is the only authorised seller of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets in Australia.

Tickets will only be available to access via the Ticketek App, which will need to be downloaded with the latest version before the shows.

‘Our team at Frontier have been working tirelessly with Ticketek to try to ensure the smoothest process possible for these shows, but we are seeing a historically unprecedented level of demand for these concerts,’ Frontier CEO Dion Brant said.

‘We’re asking fans to stay calm and be kind to each other. Be prepared, read our presale tips and whatever you do – don’t refresh your browser.

‘If you can’t get tickets during the presale don’t panic, there will be another opportunity at Friday’s on sale.’
