Katie Carsey admitted to having sexual contact with one of her students, police have said
A middle school teacher in Florida has been arrested and accused of sexual conduct with one of her students, police have said.
Katie Carsey, a teacher at McCoy Middle School, admitted to having sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy, police told Click Orlando.
The 36-year-old has been booked into Marion County Jail on the felony charge.
A police deputy caught Carsey partially naked in her car on July 6 while investigating a suspicious vehicle at a church.
At the time she said she was there to meet a male friend.
However, a few months later Carsey allegedly told a friend that the cop nearly caught her having sex with one of her students.
Police said when they spoke to the teacher on Wednesday she admitted to undressing and having inappropriate contact with the student in the back seat of her car.

The Marion public school system told Click Orlando it wasn’t notified of the situation until after business hours on Wednesday. Pictured is the Middle School where Carsey worked
The victim, who has since turned 15, told police that he jumped out of the car when he saw police approaching and ran home.
He has not been named.
Carsey, who is married and has worked in the district for about a year, is being held on a $10,000 bond.
The Marion public school system told Click Orlando it wasn’t notified of the situation until after business hours on Wednesday.
School officials don’t believe any of the incidents took place on school property.
