Teacher threatened to post nude photos of teen student

A California music teacher has been arrested for allegedly threatening to post nude photos of a young student he had molested for three years.

Samuel Neipp, 34, is accused of starting a sexual relationship with the student when they were just 13 years old.

The teen was one of Neipp’s music students at Dartmouth Middle School in San Jose when the alleged abuse started.

Police said Neipp threatened to post nude photos of the victim and that he used his position of authority to exploit the student into a sexual relationship.

It is not clear when police started investigating Neipp or if someone reported him to authorities.  

Detectives arrested Neipp at Dartmouth Middle School on Friday.

He is facing multiple charges including lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14, oral copulation, possession of child pornography and extortion.

Neipp was booked into the Santa Clara County jail and he will front court on Wednesday. 

Police said since Neipp’s arrest last week, investigators have received non-stop calls, some of which are from other potential victims.

Neipp was also working as Branham High School’s assistant band director. 

On the band’s website, he is also described as a private piano teacher and choir director for the local church.
