Team USA announces its 18-man soccer roster for 2024 Paris Olympics… led by former USMNT captains Walker Zimmerman and Miles Robinson

US Soccer has announced its 18-player roster for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. 

Highlighting the squad are defenders Miles Robinson and Walker Zimmerman, who have both captained the United States’ senior team in the past and are two of over 23-year-old players allowed per roster. 

The United States has also selected midfielder Djordje Mihailovic as the third over-aged roster member. 

Other players making the flight to France who have appeared for the senior American national team include both goalkeepers, Gaga Slonina and Patrick Schulte, and defender John Tolkin. 

Filling out the Americans defending corps are Caleb Wiley, Nathan Harriel, and Maximilian Dietz. 

Zimmerman is the only player to appear for Team USA at the last World Cup on the roster
