A teenage girl is the victim of a violent assault at a house party that spun out of control.
Police were called to a home in Sydney’s west early on Sunday morning after a 15-year-old suffered head injuries.
She was taken to hospital in a stable condition while a man was restrained by officers at the scene.

The incident occurred on Kirkman Street in Bankstown at about 12:30am on Sunday morning after reports of an assault.
Riot squad was required as the masses of youths at the party spilled onto the streets.
The teenagers were quickly cleared out of the area and police inspected the property.

The 15-year-old girl was taken to Westmead Hospital where she remains.
Confronting images have been released of a young woman being led out of the house, helped by emergency services and friends.
The assault is currently being investigated.
