A 15-year-old girl jumped to her death from her Greenwich Village apartment building on Wednesday after a fight with her parents.
The teen plummeted 15 floors from the 54 W. 16th St. co-op, in Manhattan, New York, at just before 5pm, landing on scaffolding below.
She was declared dead at the scene.
Sources say the teen had been arguing with parents about being allowed to attend a party, and had locked herself in her room shortly before she took her own life.

‘They’re upstairs now. They’re devastated,’ police sources said of her parents to the New York Daily News.
Earlier on Wednesday, the girl had been seen arguing with her boyfriend outside the apartment building.
Authorities have not yet released her identity apart from confirming that her father is a pastry chef and her mother is a nurse.
‘This is horrible. This is heavy,’ a neighbor told the New York Post.
