Apparently the NYPD hate crimes unit was notified immediately after the incident  at 345 Adams Street.

It’s a 13-story building that houses the Department of Finance, the Department of Probation, the Board of Elections, the Administration for Children’s Services and various other city agencies.

It is unclear which office the woman was visiting at the time.

She was not hospitalized and no arrests have been made yet.
