A teenage killer apologised to her victim as she strangled him with the electrical cord of her sex toy.
Jamie Lee Dolheguy, 20, of Sunbury told police she had an ‘urge to kill’ that she could not resist.

A Supreme Court of Victoria jury was on Thursday played Dolheguy’s chilling record of interview with homicide detectives.
In it, the then 18 year old compared her urge to kill like someone who chooses to smoke cigarettes.
‘I had an urge … Now I feel sick from it,’ she said.
Dolheguy told police she planned to kill Mr Rathod the moment he contacted her that evening.
He had been responding to her depraved profile on the dating app Plenty Of Fish.
It would be a decision he would not live to regret.
Dolheguy said she didn’t give much thought to how she planned to dispatch her victim.
‘i didn’t have a plan. All I knew I was gonna do it,’ she said.
Dolheguy said she made her decision on the fly after meeting Mr Rathod at her door.
She had been dressed as an ‘Asian lolita’ when her date arrived.

‘He didnt look like a strong man. I thought strangulation would be quick and easy,’ she said. ‘I believed he was weak.’
Dolheguy spoke candidly about how she killed Mr Rathod after placing him in a deadly head lock.
She had told him she was into ‘choke play’ and Mr Rathod claimed he was willing to give it a go.
Dolheguy had told Mr Rathod she would loosen her grip if he tapped out, but when he began to tap she only choked him tighter.
She whispered in his ear ‘It’s ok’ as she drained the life from him, apologising as she wrapped the cord of her vibrator around his neck.
She finished him off with a dog collar before calling police and cooling telling them she had killed someone.
Dolheguy told police Mr Rathod’s apparent lack of fear had ‘angered’ her.
She had told him she suffered mental health issues and psychopathic tendencies.
‘I smiled and said “I think I’m a psychopath”,’ she said. ‘He didn’t seem phased.’
‘It made me feel sh*t. Because no-one believes me,’ Dolheguy said.
The teen said she had hoped Mr Rathod would run, call police or fight back.
‘I wanted him to lose it,’ she said. ‘I wanted to get into a fight.’

Dolheguy said she had tested strangling Mr Rathod with a pillow before deciding on using her bare hands.
‘He seemed to be thinking it’s all a game,’ she said.
Dolheguy said she was further angered when the police officer who attended to her call appeared shocked upon seeing the dead body in her bedroom.
‘I felt sh*t. How am I supposed to get help? Because no-one believes me,’ she said.
‘What was your intention?’ an officer asked.
‘Murder,’ Dolheguy answered.
‘I felt good for some reason … I felt I was taking back what was rightfully mine.’
Dolheguy said it wasn’t the first time she had felt like hurting someone, declaring she often wanted to ‘torture’ pretty girls she sees at the beach.
Last week, the court heard claims Mr Rathod had died in a depraved sex game gone wrong.
Dolheguy had only four months earlier been allowed to live on her own after her Department of Human Services carers deemed it was safe to do so.
The deeply disturbed teen had lived for years under the 24-hour a day watch of two DHS minders, who catered to her ‘complex’ needs.
Dolheguy had never met her 24-year old victim when she strangled him to death.
Mr Rathod had made the mistake of contacting Dolheguy through a dating app called ‘Plenty of Fish’.
Dolheguy’s profile stated it was her first time dating and she was ‘not without flaws’.
The teenager claimed she had a borderline personality disorder and suicidal tendencies.
She further claimed she had two ‘extreme fetishes’, including ‘bondage and discipline’ and being ‘gang raped against her will’.
On the night Mr Rathod would die, Dolheguy had been angry that she did not have access to her medications.
The court heard she had been abusive to her social workers when Mr Rathod made contact.
‘Let’s hang. Are you keen?’ he asked.
Dolheguy told him she was and gave him her address.
‘I’ll put on my favourite perfume,’ she texted him.
In the hours before he arrived, prosecutor Patrick Bourke said Dolheguy put her murderous plan into play.
She Googled ‘I’m going to kill someone tonight for fun’ before clicking on a link titled `10 Steps For Committing A Murder And Get Away With It’.
When Mr Rathod arrived, she asked him to ‘go slow’.

While paramedics were able to resuscitate Mr Rathod, he died a day later after life support was pulled.
Crown prosecutor Patrick Bourke said Dolheguy later told detectives she had ‘intended to kill him’.
‘She killed him because she wanted to,’ he said. ‘It was her desire … she acted on her desire to kill him.’
Mr Bourke claimed Dolheguy ignored her victim’s taps and struggles and murdered him.
Dolheguy’s barrister Sharon Lacy agreed her client had killed Mr Rathod, but said the jury would be satisfied it was unintentional.
‘She’s a very damaged person,’ she said. ‘With complex needs.’
She told the court her client had told police she was mentally unstable on the night of the alleged murder.
The trial continues.
