A young boy claiming to be the son of ex-bikie boss Mahmoud ‘Mick’ Hawi was comforted by friends at the scene of his father’s execution-style shooting in a gym car park.
The teenage boy arrived at the Fitness First gym in Rockdale, Sydney, at 3pm after the 37-year-old former Comancheros boss was shot six times by a masked gunman.
Heartbreaking photographs taken at the scene show the distraught boy being consoled by grieving loved ones only hours after the shots were fired.

The young man reportedly told waiting media: ‘Do you know who that is? It’s my dad.’
The teenager was photographed hugging and speaking with two men and two women outside the Rockdale gym.
He left the scene shortly after and departed in a car alongside his girlfriend and her mother, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Hawi went into cardiac arrest following the brazen daylight shooting and was rushed to St George Hospital in Sydney’s south where he is on life support and has been declared brain dead.
The father-of-two was in the front seat of his luxury Mercedes SUV when he was shot six times by at least one gunman in a balaclava, witnesses said.
Hawi’s bullet-ridden black car can be seen sitting outside the gym, where the former bikie boss was known to train regularly.
Shots appear to have been fired at the driver’s side window, with one shattering the passenger window and going into the Fitness First building.

The shooter fled in a vehicle and was last seen on Lindsay Street, police say.
Officers have cordoned off the area and the forensic examiners are assessing the crime scene.
‘A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing,’ a police spokesperson said.
A crime scene has also been set up on nearby Chandler Lane, where a vehicle, believed to be the getaway car, was torched and abandoned.
Reshan Mutukrishna, who owns a physiotherapy clinic inside the gym, said Hawi was a regular.

Mr Mutukrishna said he heard four loud bangs, which he initially thought were weights being dropped, before the gym was locked down.
‘I heard a lot of screaming and shouting, I just thought maybe someone fell at the gym,’ he said.
‘It’s shocking. It’s sad but it’s not surprising.’
A man who works at Opposite Lock South Sydney, which is located across the street, told Daily Mail Australia he heard six shots but didn’t look outside.
‘I only saw the aftermath, everyone trying to stop the bleeding,’ he said.

Police are investigating if there is a connection between the shooting and a car that was set alight nearby on Beach Street in Kogarah shortly afterwards.
Men who had been working out inside the gym at the time of the attack said they didn’t hear any gunshots.
One of the men said he was on the treadmill at the time Hawi was shot.
A large group of Comanchero bikies and women are weeping outside of the hospital, which is being guarded by public order and riot squad officers.
