Two 15-year-old boys have been charged with the alleged stabbing of another teenager during a home break-in.

Eight people wearing face coverings are alleged to have broken into the home on Frazer Street at Marrickville, in Sydney’s Inner West, at 5pm on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to the scene and found a 16-year-old boy with several stab wounds.

He was rushed to hospital to receive further treatment.

Two 15-year-old boys were arrested nearby and taken to Newtown Police Station. 

They were both charged with affray, enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

One of them was additionally charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, and custody of knife in public place.

They were both granted conditional bail and will appear before a children’s court on Monday 12 May 2025.
