A teenager cured her boredom during lockdown by spending six hours mastering the perfect ping-pong ball trick shot. 

Mackenzie Allan, 19, followed in the footsteps of other TikTok and Instagram stars by dedicated hours of her day to perfecting a ping-pong course down her stairs. 

In the satisfying video, she sits at the top of her staircase in Georgia  before balancing a pan upside-down on one of the top steps. She drops the ping pong ball off a table and and pays close attention to where it lands.

The Kennesaw State University student then continues adding more pots and pans onto the steps where the ball lands, finding the perfect spot for it to bounce. 

Her video, which she shared on TikTok, shows the painstaking and time-consuming process of adding more kitchenware at every stage. 

The trick also features other household items to prop up the pans, including a plant, a sellotape dispenser and a pile of books.

The teenager eventually ends up with six pots and pans which are strategically placed to ensure the ping-pong ball lands perfectly into the black paper cup at the bottom of the stairs. 

She shouts ‘yes’ as she makes the final shot and it is clear she is pleased to have finally mastered it. 

After uploading the video on May 29, she has received more than 3.4million likes.
