Tekashi 6ix9ine ‘has home raided by feds who find gun’… amid other run-ins with the law

Federal agents reportedly found a gun at the New York City home of Tekashi 6ix9ine.

The agents were assisted by the New York Police Department while conducting a raid on the 22-year-old rapper’s residence in Brooklyn Friday, TMZ reported.

According to insiders from law enforcement, 6ix9ine was not in at the time. The owner of the gun has apparently not been established.

The reason for the raid has also not been made public at this time.

6ix9ine was working on moving out of his Brooklyn residence, according to an insider close to him who spoke to TMZ, and had not been there himself for weeks.

Several other people, such as cleaners and movers, had been at the rapper’s home during the past few weeks.

As the gossip website pointed out, 6ix9ine has been doing quite a bit of out-of-town traveling lately, including with Kanye West to Colombia.

In fact, 6ix9ine and the late rapper XXXtentacion are featured on Yandhi, the new album that Kanye will drop Saturday, Kanye toldThe Fader.

A representative for 6ix9ine has yet to respond to TMZ’s request for comment after the purported raid.

The raid that allegedly occurred on his home this Friday is not the first time 6ix9ine has been in trouble with the law.

He pleaded guilty in 2015 to using a child in a sexual performance, since when he has been arrested for an alleged assault on a cop, as well as for misdemeanor assault and driving with a suspended license, according to Pitchfork.

His sentencing date on the first crime was postponed more than once, and is currently slated to occur this coming Tuesday.

In a letter to the presiding judge, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office asked that 6ix9ine register as a sex offender and go to jail for one to three years.
