Charlotte police arrested a 22-year-old man after a fight broke out in the stands of the ACC Championship football game Saturday.
Reed Fletcher, 22, was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery after the epic brawl at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department spokesman Keith Trietley said stadium officials notified police about the disturbance in a seating section.
Trietley says officers determined Fletcher was a primary aggressor and arrested him.
Jail records show Fletcher of Rogersville, Tennessee was released early Sunday on bond.
The video, captured by Corey Washington and posted to Facebook, shows multiple people throwing punches in the crowded stands.
It has been shared almost 15,000 times with many social media users blasting and shaming the men fighting.
One Facebook user commented ‘look at these classless thugs,’ while another said ‘this is so sad that grown adults act like middle school kids…. grow up and act like ADULTS.’
In the video one man appears to be thrown from one row into another, emerging with blood on his face.
Another individual is being physically restrained from fighting while a different man appears at the end of the video with blood all over his face.
Clemson beat Miami 38-3 in the game Saturday evening.
