Tennis bad boy Bernard Tomic derails interview about drink spiking

Bernard Tomic has derailed an interview about claims his entourage spiked a woman’s drink by bragging about making millions on I’m a Celebrity.

The tennis bad boy broke his silence while partying at Surfers Paradise nightclub Sin City with his girlfriend Emma Blake-Hahnel on Wednesday night.

When quizzed about the police investigation into the spiking allegations, he claimed there were 20 people in his booth, most of whom he didn’t know.

‘I just made a million dollars for four days on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,’ he told The Gold Coast Bulletin.

‘I just bought another house. I’m buying everything on the Gold Coast.’

Tomic threatened to sue the media if inaccuracies are published, and insisted on sticking to a statement by the nightclub The Bedroom Lounge.

Bar staff at Sin City said Tomic never causes trouble and keeps to himself in his VIP booth.

‘He’s an alright kid, he’s a bit socially awkward but he’s had a hard and different upbringing, that’s all it is,’ the staff member said.
