And Teri Hatcher was in high spirits as she exited a Los Angeles fitness studio on Saturday, shortly after being announced as a contestant.
The former Desperate Housewives star, 53, was joined by a female friend while strolling through Studio City following her morning workout.

A simple white vest added to her sporty ensemble, while black and white running shoes rounded things off.
Keeping her eyes shielded behind a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses, the actress – a former Bond girl – beamed as she greeted onlookers.

Sources recently claimed that Teri has been chosen to take part in Channel 4’s first star-studded edition of Great British Bake Off, which is set to air in March in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.
‘Teri is a bit of a left field choice, but Channel 4 are banking on her adding some real Hollywood glamour to Bake Off,’ an insider told The Sun.
‘As well as being a Golden Globe-winning actress, Teri is a keen baker and the fact she jetted all this way proves she’s serious about the competition.

‘It’ll be interesting to see what she makes of hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding, or if she recognises any of her opponents.’
Teri is most well-known as one of the stars of Desperate Housewives, which aired on ABC in the US, and Channel 4 in the UK, from 2004 to 2012.
She found fame after playing reporter Lois Lane alongside Dean Cain’s Superman in nineties serial Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
