Terminator’s Robert Patrick greets fans with Home and Away star Lincoln Lewis at Sydney’s Supanova Expo

He is best known for his portrayal of T-1000 in the Terminator film franchise.

But the bad cop persona didn’t stop Australian fans from lining up to greet American actor Robert Patrick at the Supanova Expo in Sydney on Saturday.

The 65-year-old Hollywood star scrolled his autograph on everything from T-shirts to stock pictures of himself for his adoring sci-fi fans at the event.

He was also joined by former Home and Away star Lincoln Lewis, who couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he greeted fans.

The Aussie actor, 36, looked stylish in a white shirt as he sat on a table and signed pictures of himself.

Supanova will also be held in Perth on June 29 and 30 before moving to Adelaide and Brisbane in November.

Next year in March, the convention will take place in Melbourne and the Gold Coast.

The convention is best known for its elaborate costume play – known as ‘cosplay’.

Cosplay is a form of costume role play where people leave their regular personalities at home and embrace the costumes and characters from their favourite comics, movies and games.
