A ‘follow-home robbery’ is a crime in which victims leaving upscale restaurants are targeted and ‘followed home to be robbed by a crew of criminals,’ according to Fox LA.

‘People need to be aware of the surroundings, especially leaving nightclubs, restaurants and what have you,’ LAPD Sgt. Hector Olivera said after assisting in clearing the actor’s home.

‘It seems that the suspects are targeting individuals that either have expensive jewelry, expensive cars, and things of that nature,’ he said.
