Terri Irwin shares sweet tribute to her late husband Steve on Father’s Day: ‘He was the best dad’

Terri Irwin has shared a sweet Father’s Day tribute to her late husband Steve Irwin.

The 60-year-old conservationist took to Instagram on Sunday to share a series of throwback photos that feature Steve with his daughter Bindi and son Robert.

One photo showed Steve beaming as he proudly posed holding what appeared to be a large sand goanna.

A second image showed a very young Robert following in his dad’s footsteps while happily clinging on to a brown monitor lizard.

Another photo also showed Bindi playfully posing for the camera with what looked to be a Fiji crested iguana perched on top of her head.

Captioning the sweet post, Terri was full of praise for her late husband and the way his children have picked up the wildlife warrior mantle.

‘Steve had so much love for Robert and Bindi. He was the best dad,’ Terri began.

‘It warms my heart to see how much they always wanted to be just like him. I know he would be proud of the way they have continued his message and mission for conservation.’
