Rumours have been circling for months that Bindi Irwin is set to soon walk down the aisle with long-time beau Chandler Powell.
And on Monday, speculation of impending weddings bells was reignited with Woman’s Day reporting Terri Irwin is keen for Chandler to sign a pre-nuptial agreement before the big day.
The magazine reported that the 53-year-old is doing all she can to protect her late husband Steve’s legacy and their family fortune should the couple’s relationship take a turn for the worse.

‘Of course Terri’s overjoyed Bindi and Chandler are so happy, but she’s always been cautious about them making such a big commitment so young,’ a source reportedly told the magazine.
The insider added: ‘She’s worked hard to keep Steve’s legacy going since his death and she wants to make sure if things were to turn sour between Bindi and Chandler, it’s not the family business that suffers.’
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to the Irwins’ representatives for comment.

Last week, Chandler’s grandfather told the publication that the family are waiting for the couple’s engagement news.
‘It’s been a while now, they’re on their time frame, but we’re quietly waiting (for an announcement),’ John told Woman’s Day.
‘They want to be sure the timing is right, because they are popular and they won’t want any pressure on them.’

Despite John’s comments, Australia Zoo previously confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the couple are happy going on as they are for a while.
‘Chandler’s family think the world of Bindi and are very supportive of their relationship,’ a representative told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.
‘Bindi and Chandler are enjoying one day at a time – as they’ve mentioned in many public interviews – and have no current plans to get engaged.’
