Crikey! Terri Irwin will front a new Tourism Australia campaign alongside surfing legend Mick Fanning
Terri Irwin has been named as an new ambassador for Tourism Australia.
The 55-year-old will encourage tourists to holiday Down Under, and will be celebrating the larrikin lifestyle with a new campaign.
According to The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday, Terri will front the new ‘PhilAUSophy’ campaign targeting high-end international travelers.

The campaign uses reefs, rain forests and beaches to lure tourists Down Under, with the ads being run in the America, Europe, China, India and Singapore.
Terri will be joined by Australian champion surfer Mick Fanning, who will also appear in the global advertising campaign.
Celebrity chefs Kylie Kwong and Curtis Stone will also have a role in the ads as well as comedian Adam Hills.

Tourism Australia has had a huge number of successful advertising campaigns in the past, with them previously working with Chris Hemsworth and Lara Bingle.
Chris starred in Dundee: The Son Of A Legend back in February 2018, which was a fictional sequel to Crocodile Dundee.
The elaborate commercial was aired during the Superbowl to much fanfare, with it even prompting talk of a potential sequel film.

The commercial featured Chris, US actor Danny McBride and Hugh Jackman, in a mock movie trailer for a ‘reboot’ of the Crocodile Dundee franchise.
The original Crocodile Dundee film was released in 1986 and made its star Paul Hogan into an international sensation, raking in $328million at the US box office.
Tourism Australia also previously produced the ‘where the bl**dy hell are ya?’ campaign featuring Lara Worthington.
