The hilarious clip has racked up thousands of views on Facebook and shows the officer swearing and screaming at the pandemonium.

After a few more seconds the small dark snake is seen slithering towards the officer doorway as more squealing ensues.

Eventually the policeman is seen kicking the doorway and raising his arms in celebration as he finally gets the serpent out of the office.

On the police force’s Facebook page it describes itself as: ‘The mission of UCFPD is to reduce crime and the fear of crime by providing a safe environment for our students, faculty, staff and visitors and the safeguarding of constitutional guarantees.’
