Terrifying footage of massive bull shark circling in swimming enclosure as girl, 4, looks on

Shocking footage has emerged of a massive bull shark circling around in a Gold Coast swimming enclosure, as a little girl narrowly escapes danger.

The footage shows a two metre bull shark cruising in the water of a swimming enclosure at Tippler’s camping ground at South Stradbroke Island on the Gold Coast.

Jeanette Haskew, 42, filmed the video while on a family holiday with her partner and four-year-old daughter, Grace Zipf.

At 9.45 am on Sunday, Ms Haskew took her daughter to the swimming enclosure for a splash.

Luckily, before Grace entered the pool, a fellow holiday-maker spotted an unusual shape in the water.

‘We were parked up and we normally do go straight in for a swim, or she normally goes straight in for a swim, should I say,’ said Ms Haskew.

‘It was just a little bit cold, so she was just sort of playing on the beach with her dollies, her little mermaid dolls,’ she said.

'I think it was a bull shark, I'm not an expert though, but I think it was a bull shark and it was five foot long atleast, between five and six foot, but definitely five foot,' Ms Haskew said

Ms Haskew initially thought it was a dolphin, but realised that it was a massive bull shark circling the water.

‘It was sort of doing laps, I think, of the enclosure, trying to find a way out, coming right up to the shoreline and you know, swimming off again,’ she said.

‘And it only did that a few times, two times maybe. And then, it didn’t resurface again.

Ms Haskew was not afraid of the shark and enjoyed the novelty of seeing the creature in a swimming pool.

‘I wasn’t scared at all, it was more exciting, because that’s not something you see everyday,’ she said.
