Terrifying moment Aussie influencer is left lying on the floor of a Bali supermarket after her ‘body went into shock’ during health scare: ‘I couldn’t move my hands’

Influencer Shani Grimmond has recalled the horrific moment she was forced to lie down inside a supermarket during a bout of acute period pain while holidaying in Bali.

The glamour model, 26, took to Instagram on Friday to update her fans on the terrifying experience, explaining that she was holidaying in Bali with fellow influencer Michael Finch when she began feeling unwell.

‘You know how last time I got really bad cramps and I was vomiting and everything before I got my period, and it was so painful?’ Shani explained.

‘So I was on my way to lunch yesterday with Michael and I got my period like a month late. It finally came.’

Shani said she began experiencing excruciating pain while riding her bike around Bali.

‘I had to get off a bike and go lay down in a Mini Mart because I could not move because I got the worst pains of my entire life,’ she recalled.

‘My body fully went into shock. Couldn’t move my hands, like I was shaking it was the scariest thing.’

Shani said she called a local doctor who organised an ambulance to pick her up as she ‘couldn’t move’ due to the pain.

She also called Michael to come to her aid, and recalled the moment he found her lying down in a corner of the Mini Mart.

‘I think I’m going head home early and go to see someone about it because I’m a bit worried it’s endo [endometriosis] or something is wrong,’ she added.

Endometriosis is a disease in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus grow outside the uterus – often on ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder or intestines.

The condition causes excruciating and debilitating pain in the pelvis especially around menstruation and during sex. It also makes it more difficult to fall pregnant.
