Walking by the seaside is often a tranquil moment and a form of distraction from the worries of life.
But this certainly wasn’t the case for the man with his dog this Saturday morning as he walked past the golden beaches of the seaside town of Bournemouth, Dorset.
A video shared online shows the moment the man came inches away from being wiped out by a landslide from a nearby cliff off the path at Durley Chine
The terrifying footage shows the huge chunk of dirt and a tree giving away and slipping from the cliff before a two rows of beach huts are swept.

BCP council confirmed the landslide has happened due to recent heavy rainfall the seaside town has seen.Â
The video, which has no audio, then shows a man waking in front of the row dramatically running away from the swept huts with his dog.
A wider cordoneed was put around the site by the police and BCP Council after the incident which happened around 9.30am.Â
The cordon was an extension to the existing one already put in place from a landslide which happened on October 9.
Cllr Richard Herrett, portfolio holder for destination, leisure and commercial operations at BCP Council, said: ‘Following further heavy rainfall, we can confirm that a cliff slip near Durley Chine took place at 9.45 this morning and has affected access to a number of beach huts and parts of the adjacent promenade.
‘This is in the same area of the Chine that experienced a cliff slip earlier this month and a wider section has been cordoned off in the interest of public safety while the site is inspected by the council’s Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) team.
‘We are informing the licensees of the beach huts and will provide updates once a further assessment has been carried out.’
