What happens when two high-powered zero-emission electric vehicles face off against each other in a drag race?
That’s what an Italian car magazine tried to find out when it arranged a quarter-mile-long drag race between a four-door Tesla Model 3 Performance sedan and the Zero Motorcycles SR/F.
In the initial seconds of the race, the Tesla, with its 450 horsepower and tons of torques, gets the edge.

Elon Musk’s creation gets from zero to sixty miles per hour about a half-second quicker – 3.5 seconds – than the motorcycle – 3.94 seconds.

It’s not surprising, though, considering the Tesla weighs 4,000lbs, which is almost nine times as heavy as the 485lb bike.
The MSRP of a Tesla Model 3 Performance is listed at $56,990. A Zero Motorcycles SR/F will set you back $19,000.
